Kelly Brooks will teach on this yoga and skiing retreat. Kelly teaches at Soho House and other London locations. She has developed her own unique style with music at its core. She has a particularly intuitive style of teaching. Whether you are looking for fitness or recovery, Kelly will lovingly curate the experience that you are seeking.
Morning yoga will warm up the body in preparation for skiing and snowboarding. These classes will improve your strength and balance, and protect against injury. Evening yoga will focus on deep stretches and breathing to reduce muscle tension and soreness. Above all they will release the adrenaline that builds up from a day on the slopes.
Throughout the course of the week Kelly will teach us the components of a beautiful sequence. The components will be put together at the end of the week in a seamless 90 minute Deep House flow.
Yoga and Skiing Retreat in the French Alps
Lift passes, equipment hire, and a daily shuttle to and from the slopes are included in the price of this retreat. We can help you to book skiing or snowboarding lessons should you require them. There will always be someone of roughly your level to ski or snowboard with. La Rosière is a charmingly authentic French-Italian resort. Advanced skiers will have the option of skiing to Italy for lunch.
Other key features of this yoga and skiing retreat are the included holistic massage treatments and a Vegan Detox menu. We’ll be serving a daily menu of detoxifying, protein-rich vegan meals using fresh local produce. This is an alcohol-free spring detox, and a seriously fun way to get in shape.
Downtime will be spent in our meditation tipi, watching sunset over snow-capped mountains from our outdoor Jacuzzi, exploring our extensive library in front of a roaring fire, or simply catching up on some much needed R & R.
