Our teacher is the lovely Kelly Brooks who is known for her lighthearted, relaxing, yoga sessions infused with a diverse playlist to guide you through the practice. Each class is themed introducing yoga philosophy and a challenge but always sprinkled with fun. If you’re new to yoga these classes are designed to help you feel confident on your yoga mat, building strength from within. You will get the best technical advice, progress your practice and feel confident to continue on your own after the retreat with the tools and tips Kelly gives you during the 5 days. Powerful and intelligent sequences are designed to create a fluid practice of moving meditation, while also cultivating an awareness of alignment. We will laugh, we will challenge we may even have a cry, but no matter what, we will learn a lot and leave the retreat feeling in bliss.
Kelly immersed herself in a variety of yoga styles ranging from Hatha and dynamic flow to Yin and restorative yoga, since originally qualifying in India. Kelly started practising Iyengar yoga which healed her cycling injuries and also improved her asthma. As a result she is passionate about sharing the magic of yoga.
On retreat Kelly will teach Vinyasa Flow in the mornings and the day will end with a yummy relaxing yoga practice blending in Yin, restorative yoga and meditation.

The Cyprus retreat was an amazing experience. It was the first time I have gone on a retreat however now I’m planning to do it annually!! The whole trip was very well organised, the yoga was fantastic, the fresh local cuisine and conversations we had nightly fed the body and soul. I attended the yoga retreat Antigone organised in October 2015 in Cyprus and I absolutely loved it. The organisation of the week was flawless, the food plentiful and delicious and the teaching top notch. The group was small enough that we all got to know each other and we had individual attention from our teacher during the twice-daily classes. The morning ashtanga class was always challenging and invigorating and the evening yin yoga class was deeply relaxing and great for stretching after a day at the beach. During the day we were free to enjoy the beautiful beaches in Cyprus, explore and relax as we pleased, and the organisers were very helpful to direct us to the best things to see in the area. I came home from the retreat truly recharged and full of energy, and the wonderful feeling stayed with me for a long time after. I could not recommend Antigone’s retreats more and I am looking forward to joining another retreat soon.
